Mueller is a post doc with Professor Trevor Bedford at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. He works on several aspects of Bayesian phylogenetics and phylodynamics. He's developed several BEAST2 software packages, such as MASCOT, CoupledMCMC, CoalRe, SCoRe, Recombination and AIM.
